1. How do I inquire about availability of meeting space?
Use our app to check and book available dates BRICCapp or contact us to inquire about specific dates. Please keep in mind availability is subject to change daily as meetings are constantly being added to the calendar.

2. What are the max capacities for meetings at the BRICC?
(Due to COVID restrictions, capacity is limited. Please contact us for more information.)
Our largest meeting room caps at 131 per fire code in theatre seating (no tables). While each of our 5 meeting rooms have a max capacity limit, the room arrangement impacts the max capacity that can fit. Therefore, max capacity will depend on how you want your room set up. Please contact us for more information.

3. What is the process for booking a meeting?
The first requirement for holding a meeting at the BRICC is to ensure you have an AFOSR sponsor for your event. This sponsor must be onsite for your event and that POC will submit a request for your meeting. That request will be internally reviewed, and if your meeting is approved, your AFOSR sponsor will receive a booking confirmation. In the event your meeting is denied (due to space, availability, or other reasons), your sponsor will be notified.

4. Can I tour the facility prior to my meeting date?
Yes – simply contact us to set up a time and date.

5. Is there parking available at the facility?
Yes – there is a parking garage directly below the building for $9/daily.

6. When can I arrive for my meeting?
Our hours are 8am – 5:30pm. The building elevators don’t unlock until 8am, so please plan your schedule accordingly with enough time to accommodate attendee check-in upon arrival to the facility.

7. Are the presenters for my meeting able to present from their personal laptop?
Yes – every meeting room is equipped with both HDMI and VGA connections. If those cords are unable to directly connect to your laptop, we have several different converters to connect our AV system to your device. Additionally, we have an email address set up to easily transfer content to the meeting room laptops. More information for this will be provided onsite.

8. What is provided in the meeting room?
The furniture within your assigned room will already be arranged from the information supplied in your original event request. Each meeting room is equipped with a laptop, AV projection via HDMI and VGA connections and a slide advancer for presenters. Our largest meeting rooms have handheld and lapel microphones available. 4 of our 5 meeting rooms also boast whiteboard walls and accompanying markers and erasers. If you have any special requests (digital timer, materials for a poster session, butcher blocks, etc.) this is able to be noted within your original meeting request. Additionally, you can always contact us for other questions.

9. Do you offer teleconferencing and/or phone lines for meetings?
Yes – we currently use Zoom which offers the ability for screen sharing, audio, and shared visuals between users. Participants do not need their own Zoom license to be able to participate in a Zoom meeting virtually. If you require a Zoom meeting, please contact us to set this up for you. If you require audio only, we can accommodate that as well. These offerings are also listed within the initial meeting request form, and your POC can note at that time that those capabilities will be needed.

10. Is there Wi-Fi available at the BRICC?
Yes – the log-in credentials are posted throughout the space to include business cards available at the front desk for your convenience.

11. What café and restaurant options are available around the BRICC?
We have a café within our facility that is currently cash-only, paid within an honor box. Our staff can make change for attendees as needed. Our café offers coffee, tea, water, soda, chips, candy, and other snacks for $1/item or $5 unlimited for the day. There are otherwise several walkable options that are outlined in our local guide which can be found here.

12. What catering options are available for my meeting?
There are numerous walkable lunch options, but if the timing of your meeting requires a working lunch, there are several local caterers we can recommend:

13. What is your inclement weather policy?
We operate on OPM guidelines. If the government is delayed or closed, the BRICC operates on the same schedule. With a 2-hour delay, we will open at 10A. The facility hours are not extended past 5:30P in the event of a delayed opening. You can check the OPM status here.
